Testimony time. I married wrong three time. 2 almost cost me my life. No one told me it was wrong but God. Take it to the Lord and He will guide you. I have 3 beautiful children that I raise by myself. Good friends brothers and sisters, wait on the Lord and you will be blessed. I wish someone told me before. Dont make my mistakes, you dont want the burden I carry. God bless you, keep you an guide you.

Praise YaH your eyes now opened to Truth! More Truth...of 3 marriages, if your husband of your first marriage is alive, then relationship 2&3 were Adultery, not marriage, according to Scripture. Luke 16:18, Mark 10:11-12, Romans 7:1-3, Hebrews 13:4. Covenant marriage is till death do part. Do not seek another relationship as long as your Covenant husband is alive. Be reconciled if you can be, for the sake of your children, but if not possible, remain as you are (married, but living apart). All divorce plus 'Remarriage ' = Adultery everytime, no exceptions! If spouse has been in sin, Yahshua's message is..."forgive 70x7"! Shalom!

@@valerieheinrichs7519 There was adultry in the first relationship alone so the 2nd and third were not adultry. Dont speak of details that I did not give you sister. I was telling my testimony. It will help people out there. My other 2 also cheated on me as well. So biblically yes, I was able to move on. The only thing I did wrong was not ask God if they were the one He wanted me to be with.

@@hannahking1984 hmmm... if your first Covenant husband cheated on you...what should be the response according to Yahshua's own words? There should never be a third husband unless there was the death of husband #1, then death of husband #2...as a widow free to remarry husband #3, and it not be Adultery. I don't know your story, I just know what Scripture says! Even through a testimony, cannot make others think it's ok to have more than one husband when the first Covenant husband is still living. I have a great grandfather who had 4 wives, and each one was a Covenant wife...because his wife always died, before he took another wife. I guess the only question would be, did you experience the death of your first husband? If not, then husband 2 & 3 were men in Adultery. All divorce and Remarriage is Adultery, according to Yahshua's words. No exceptions. Of course if there was Adultery in this regard, it too requires Repentance. Shalom.

@@valerieheinrichs7519 I will not share anymore of my personal life and I dont have to prove myself to anyone. One thing I know that the scripture does say if an unsaved believer wants to leave a believer to give a certificate of divorce and let them go. I also know that there are circumstances where abuse takes place and lives are in danger that God will instruct us to leave. You have to think that abused women will see this and truly put their lives and childrens lives in danger going back and wont make it out alive. There are times and places and truths that are written and need to be studied in the word and I have studied them and God has given me peace in my situations. God bless you sister and I pray God shows you the truth.

This made me shed a tear. I wasted so many years seeking out relationships with women and they failed many, many times. I always wanted to do things the way God intended but I was always impatient and foolish. I hurt women and they hurt me and now I'm stuck in the lie that I may never be godly enough for a real marriage. It's time to do things God's way.

Courtship is not about experimenting or having fun, but courtship is about planning for marriage, it's about having serious plan of creating your own family. It's deciding your own future that both of you can build. Much better not to go ahead of God's plan for your life, because He has better plan for you. Thank for giving us another knowledge that should be learn before entering into relationship 💗

Pray for me during this transition of life, hopefully if we do come back together we can do courtship the right way.

You left out many things you discover about a person when you spend time getting to know them. Things later you wished you knew bc you never would have gotten involved with them if you knew certain behaviors and personality traits that are hidden in the beginning stages of getting to know someone. The longer you know someone and the longer time you spend with them we tend to let our guards down and you get to see the real person not the person who is careful and being polite ect. Getting know someone well takes at least 6 months to a year.
@DeeJay-vj3tl
4 ай бұрын
Most definitely. That's why you take time to get to know them. Not every couple will get married within 6 months. For many it is upwards a year to a year and a half or so depending on time, distance, work and other activities going on in life. It's why the foundation should always be friendship. There is no rush. At the moment you are ready to commit to the courtship process (after a prayer to God about it first) one should have gained somewhat of a steady friendship by that point. During real friendship you pick up on their life story, their habits, goals, etc. It is why courtship may seem "quick". With all the time between being introduced formally and getting to know someone as friends, having group Bible studies and developing a social network of shared activities in the local community and building trust, then intentionally committing to the courtship process with someone you've closely befriended and grown attracted to (and God gave you the green light as you went along) to further investigate more deeply the potential marriage match... It all adds up in the end to seeing if it will really work out for the long haul. ❤ From there it will be decided if there will be a betrothal/engagement. You know when things are right and there won't be any guessing games to figure out like in your average dating setting. When you know you are ready to marry that is the time to get into the process of courtship. It doesn't need to be done after learning someone's first name or having only one social outing with them. Take your time, be friends for a year or two if needed! Just also be aware that the person you really start to bond with may also be open for others to extend the invitation of courtship to them as well! Let God lead you. You have free will. So if you wait to stay in the friendship zone for too long (2 years+) while you know deep inside you want courtship you just might miss your opportunity. Any self limiting beliefs, insecurities, significant financial issues or other huge stressors should ideally be dealt with before entertaining the idea of real courtship or else it can negatively affect the process and/or possibly the beginning stages of marriage.

I wish I would’ve had this advice as a kid Vlad. It could’ve saved me 10 years, a messy divorce, and having two young kids get hurt also. My parents didn’t cover marriage a whole lot except for telling us to not be unequally yoked. I’m not blaming them at all. I was an adult and I should’ve known better. I just wanted to share that part because I know my parents can’t be the only ones offering that advice. My parents are amazing I just wish they knew about courtship. They’re first generation Christian’s and they’re both from broken families. They’ve been married over 32 years but I chose a spouse who didn’t want to serve God and decided she wanted to party instead of being a mom 10 years into our marriage. Honestly I’m better for it now, so are our kids. She was an extremely messed up person. I don’t even hate her. You have to be in a screwed up place to do that to your own kids. I am praying for her. I wish she could be in their lives but she doesn’t need to be until she figures her stuff out. The people she’s with are not safe for kids.
