The change to Baby's level 1 is primarily because the timing for some DHCs when he did this super could be rather tight, as if they went into an unique animation you'd have to time them to match the last hit. The groundbounce is so that timing is less punishing, I believe. Thank you for the patch notes.

Also, it makes the Limit Break lvl 1 into lvl 3 more consistent, especially after 214M > Air dash

Low key haven’t ever had that issue except for when going into his level one into 3. Although the extra timing is nice because when I had a less optimal Zamasu Tod sometimes Beerus wouldn’t come out after Baby so yeah the extra time is nice but really not needed.

Revenge Death Ball being able to be thrown down also means there isn't a deadzone anymore when he uses it as a reversal (if you used the regular version, you could avoid it by crouching right next to Baby when he throws it)

Fun fact, the ground bounce on lvl 1 allows for specific set ups into full charge special beam cannon from piccolo, and they’re quite easy :)
