I bought the DCK kit for 75, 40+ percent discount.. I'd definitely buy it over the ryobi at that price

For those who don't know DCK are more popular in China or asia, they are the better brand compared to some generic china brands. DCK, DCA, Dongcheng all are the same made by Dongcheng. I own several of them not the best for sure but they work well for me.

Great video. I have almost all Ryobi. Got most from HD via hacks or sales. The rest from Direct Tools Outlets. For me as a homeowner and DIYer, I don't need a $300 Milwaukee drill. It's overkill for me. I understand the reason behind working these things to failure, but outside of building a deck, I can't ever see myself drilling 72 holes in anything.

Thanks Bill! It’s true most folks don’t need expensive pro tools. For the price of a Milwaukee hammer drill you can almost get a whole 5 pc Ryobi kit. Makes way more sense.

Just remember with the ryobi you can go get a 15$ sawzall from 2002 and put a brand new 4AH in it. Also test the ryobi with a HP 4AH

I used to own that $15 sawzall from 2002! Had the blue 5 tool kit back in the day and would bring them on the job! Haven't used the HP Ryobi batteries yet but would be a good vid to see if they are worth the extra $$. Thanks for the idea!

I don’t remember what the kit cost me but I’m sure it wasn’t much because I was working 2 jobs back then and pretty broke. I’ve been hunting marketplace for the last month for the same kit in good shape. I’ll find one eventually and we’ll do a vid for sure!

Harbor Freight also has the Hercules brand. I hear the hammer drill is a beast for the price and they have a 4 ah extreme performance battery. I actually bought the new 1/4" impact driver as a kit for $100. One badazz impact.

I saw HF has the Hercules line on sale at the moment. Maybe we'll get to those soon. Thanks for watching!

How did I miss this one? Good one, again, Mike. Who is this DCK? Well, now I know. Still, I'm not getting into another battery platform; although, you did get me to go to the Skil 12 v because of your review. Then I had to buy a better battery for it. And, the beat goes on.

The Ryobi here did about twice as good as the DCK for about twice the money. This same Ryobi got its butt kicked by the Flex in that vid. I think it’s interesting to see price tag directly translated into performance. Maybe another video topic. Thanks Meat!

Just bought the DCK from Amazon for $64.00 on prime day, how much was/is the Ryobi?

$130 tool only if I remember correctly. $64 for that DCK is a very fair deal. It's definitely home owner grade but it performed well for what it is. Thanks for watching!

Subscribed. I switched to ryobi from dewalt due to price of tool replacement. With Directtools also running sales I was able to replace all my tools. I do feel ryobi’s hammer drill is good. Can you run it against dewalt and Milwaukee if you have time?
@bread-gz3rl

Milwaukee belongs in a scrap bin since no sane person will pay those prices when you can get a brushless ryobi for 200$ less once you get a few batteries but dewalt with definitely beat the ryobi. Sure dewalt is still like 100$ more but I feel like you actually get more for what you pay compared to Milwaukee.

Hello Julio! Always felt I got what I paid for with Ryobi tools! Stay tuned I'd really love to do a large comparison vid with maybe eight or more drills. Ive never bought from Direct Tools but ppl keep talking about them in the comments. Ill have to keep an eye on that website for deals. Thanks for Watching!

I’d like to get the 20v and 12v drills and impact drivers. We’ve review quite a few Skil saws but tough to judge if the platform is worth it without seeing the drills and drivers. Keep an eye out we’ll get to it soon. Thanks for watching!

@@ProjectsForAllReviews I ended up staying with the 20v Skil hammer drill. tried ryobi hammer drill- it was double the weight and 3x as long to charge the battery just for a small bump in speed.
