I have hauled home another project: A dead 1973 Cushman Trackster that has been sitting for years. Can we bring it back to life and get it running and driving again?
In the early 1970s, Cushman was owned by Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC) and the Trackster uses a nearly identical engine to my 1971 Snow Cruiser. Fortunately, I learned some of the pitfalls working on the Snow Cruiser and didn't have to learn them again on the Trackster. I discovered Tracksters when I was researching parts for my Snow Cruiser and fell in love with them then.
Follow along as I check out this old machine to see what is needed to get the Trackster back up and running.
