Everything you said is REAL. I moved out recently, I’m very far away from my family and wow I never thought it’d be this hard to make new friends, specially for people like myself that work from home but have a schedule and a boss. I’m not allowed to work outside my own home because it’s in my contract… like, I don’t even have time for myself. Now I understand why people are always eager to find a partner, at least you have someone to do nothing with, just their company is enough. I have a couple of friends, but they have their own lives, yk? And I don’t want to be a bother. I only have 1 friend that moved out of her home, but lives with her boyfriend, I don’t need to say more lmao Loneliness is all I’m feeling right now.

I think you should really think about doing a workation in LA. Lease your Canada flat for a month to someone on AirBnb , if you don't need this extra cash it's even easier. Just rent an AirBnb in LA for a month and see how you like it and you can still work. Use your privilege as a content creator.

26:50 i relate cuz im also an extrovert but if you surround yourself with toxic people it will only drain you. I feel like i attract/ attracted toxic people because i was used to it as a kid and had to start healing myself. which one way is better knowing yourself, which also means being alone with myself from time to time. you just need to balance your alone time and with your friends & gatherings time.

I resonate with so much you said, because I have been living on my own for the last year, and I feel the exact same. I catch myself scrolling on my phone a lot because it is so easy when you’re alone, so finding those hobbies is key. Also I feel the same I’m working from home for myself so Being home a lot I notice after 2-3 days I need human interaction, or else I start to feel very low energy

Hello! I’m 23 and I started living alone last year. I felt like it was one of the best years of my life because I was still studying at university so I got to choose how and when I wanted to study, and I had a routine that included the chores and cleaning time, gym time, selfcare time, journal and creativity time etc. This year I started working as a teacher and my life is a mess. My chores and cleaning moments are random and make me feel stressed and I haven’t been able to make time for gym and creativity, and my selfcare moments happen less often. This is definitely being a tough year for me but this video made me rethink my life and made me want to make changes, improve myself and Lear how to make time for everything, and not letting work be my entire life. As a teacher I feel like it’s really easy to bring work home… But I’ll definitely try and make some changes that benefit me, and I’ll improve my lifestyle. Thank you once again for your podcast Fernanda! It’s really helping me think and reflect on my life and myself. As you mentioned, sometimes when you live alone you forget to do that, and you just start to let life take you in it’s waves lake the ocean. But I need to be in control of my life again, and I’ll be. Thank you again 🫶🏻💗

Totally understand what you mean about the low points in the beginning of living alone. I moved out and moved countries at the same time. Talk about drastic change and loniless from not having anyone around. It was really hard to get myself out of a slump if I was frequently alone and lonely. Now I can be alone without being lonely. Of course sometimes you still go there, but you learn how to be really comfortable with urself for the most part.
