Well most people in crypto don't seem to be aware that a fed cut usually triggers a dump in stocks... and stock owners are used to it and know it will go back higher, but crypto people freak the fuck out everytime something happens cause nobody seems to want to study how markets and money work. And often the FED has cut rates suddenly a month after saying they wouldn't... wanting to say that if we got a surprise cut in august, crypto would lose its shit. And I'm still lowkey wondering whether we might NOT get a cut in september, since that's what everybody has decided is gonna happen, or do get a cut, the economy tanks and they come out with a surprise hike later this year. .....currently I've been engaged in active trading, which is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility and also managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Sandy Barclays whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

There's flaw in his reasoning on the trillions of offshore dollars (eurodollars) created into existence by bank loans - global banks lend those dollar into existence to global corporations. He simply assumes that such loans will be continued to rolled over ad infinitum. But that's not true. Borrowers of such eurodollar want those eurodollars not to simply admire them by fondling their deposit account statements all day. They want those dollars to buy actual things - often physical things such as energy, raw input materials, intermediary goods and materials, and capital goods such as machineries. China has increasingly been the supplier of those goods and materials. If trading of such goods and materials are increasingly done in other currencies, or even in local currencies where those global corporations are physically located (let's say China would accept such a local currency in exchange of some Chinese made capital goods because that country has a balanced trade with China with physical gold net settling of minor trade imbalances), the total sizes of of such eurodollar in existence will shrink, because the demand of such eurodollar loans will shrink.
@trevorwells8407
Ай бұрын
You are describing what they do with the borrowed funds, but he was speaking to the fact that the loans need to be paid back and in order to be paid back it has to be done in dollars so there will always be a demand for the dollars in that sense. If they default on those loans, then those dollars disappear and that's deflationary. The point is hyperinflation does not really stem from either of these scenarios.
@danielkurek7009
Ай бұрын
@@trevorwells8407 it's a dumb argument though because in default the dollars never disappear they only move from one person to another person or one entity to another entity.. in the case of default the entity that borrowed the dollars essentially spends them in the real economy or puts the dollars in assets.. still adding to inflation or debasement of all existing dollars.

@@danielkurek7009 I believe the official definition of hyperinflation is actually 50% PER MONTH, and we haven't gotten even close to that... yet. But what could cause that is if all these Euro-dollar borrowers decide to default at once... so they just atart borrowing all the dollars they can to buy up all the real assets, US stocks, etc. they can with no intention of ever paying it back. That would look more like a crack-up boom right until the point the banks all realize they're NOT going to be paid back and then slam on the lending brakes. It may kind of look like the US now, with housing being bid up, stock indices being bid up (only on steroids) right up until there's a screeching halt in liquidity. The issue is 50% of the world economy is thinking that it does not want to use dollars to transact. If dollars are not needed to transact then why do you need it on your balance sheet. If you dont need dollars to transact, whynot simply default on your dollar debts (to the extent you have them). Weather the supply of dollars increase or decrease doesnt matter. Its a question of weather producers of goods want to take dollars to pay for the goods they produce. The US actually exports very little. If Im a country and I no longer need dollars to buy commodities, then the only thing I need dollars for is if there is stuff I want to purchase from the US. What does the US have that I want to buy ?

Iv been listening to George Gammon for a while now, and while he sounds intelligent and loved his white board stuff........Almost none of his theories or videos have be correct. How does this guy make money in the market when he's wrong 90% of the time. He is the next Peter Schiff or Harry Dent that is always crying wolf.

Most of his money is made in real estate and T-bills.

He doesn't claim to be a trader focused on technicals and candlesticks, he's focused on trends and trends entail macro. I don't see the issue

He’s talking Macro, not technicals for traders.

The chart I’m looking at shows a long way down to hit the historical trend lines. A long way down.
