No wonder people with real knowledge of healing have been avoiding this channel.....

This is so true. When I was in South Africa, I went to a game reserve that was focusing on breeding the best of its lions. Their best specimen was a nearly blind lion. The reason for its blindness was its previous owners fed him only meat, this led to vitamin deficiencies (because he needed to eat all parts of the animal, such as bones, marrow, organs etc.). So his new owners fed him parts of the whole animal and his eyesight came back, and he grew to be a massive specimen of genetic perfection. It only makes sense for us as well

I tried every diet, supplement, and super food that promised restored health that I could find, and they seem endless. After two years of getting worse, I finally have come back to eat what they ate in the old days. For a while I was convinced that a vegan diet could heal everything and save the world at the same time, but gradually that myth gave way to the old ways being best. It's still a challenge to find what to eat, and I appreciate the emphasis on eating all the parts of the naturally raised whole animals, and avoid processed carbs and oils. I'll definitely check out the book.

I am about 300 pages into her book Deep Nutrition, the other one you can download pdf for free. Very very good and interesting. She will change your perspective on what eating is, and this video lightly touches the tip of the iceburg.

I have one rule for food for myself. Don't eat what my great grandmother wouldn't recognize. I hold to that rule most of the time. That includes keeping an eye on tropical foods from far away. I do eat a ton of potatoes because that's where my energy mostly comes from in place of meats, refined sugars and fats. Farmworkers a century ago used to eat 5-10 pounds of potatoes a day. I eat 10-20 pounds of them per week, all organic. I have no weight or health issues related to food at all. I eat for meat in 2 weeks to a month what an average American would eat in a day (was it 900 grams a day? good heavens.) A lot less meat in summer because i eat from my garden exclusively in summer (10+ var. of potatoes, 50+ var. of veg, 10+ var. of fruits + nuts) and go almost entirely vegan then, in winter i add a bit more meat as my supply dwindles, but only ethically produced, which indeed is wildly more expensive. That's why i eat very little of it. Almost in mere flavoring quantities. I don't look at all these doctors and tubers fighting over what's right or wrong to eat this week. Whatever. I don't agree with any of them fully at all anymore. I just stick to good, oldfashioned poormans eating. Basically can't go wrong with that if you stick to it religiously. Well, i am poor so it's easy to let my food choices be dictated by that factor. :D Sometimes i feel regrettably poor but when i'm in the garden, looking over my wealth of freshness and green, i feel gloriously poor. It just depends on how i look at it today, not on what i actually have. I eat very, very little grain at all. It just seems to upset my digestion a little. I'll go no further than baking a flat bread once a week. Rice and bulgur (cracked wheat, eaten as rice) are mainly for emergency storage. I agree beans and peas always need to be sprouted before cooking. Not only does it cook more easily, it also doesn't upset your gut. This is the way you are supposed to eat them anyway. Until the slowcooker fad came along and made stuff 'easier'. Like cooking hard, dry beans to pulp in 9 hours.

Read her book. She ran marathons or at least races. Their effect on her joints is what led her to research traditional diets and learn of our need for good fats and collagen.

Saddest thing about this channel, is how much is knocks down the millions of people world wide healing cancer and other conditions with vegan diets, your constant uneducated knocking of veganism and healing you really don't represent your mission very well, probably why its been dying out. Many people most people who are into healing the earth are also healing form cancer and don't need to have uneducated bimbo's knocking veganism like some child afraid to eat their greens. There is a reason many raw vegans have a lot of health problems, we can't eat any other way the diet is not causing our health problems. Its always hard to gain weight properly fighting cancer and malnutrition, vegan diet can heal the most sick people. Its really contradictive the way this channel fights against plant medicine diets while blabbing about preserving civilization. People who eat more meat constantly have to take medicines for problems, problems vegans don't have. Only idiots seeing sick people healing themselves on vegan diets would blame the diet for their original problem.

None of these meat eating channels have any useful information on medicine and healing do they! Just an endless rant rage and anger when meat eating is questioned! Dark age cult of cannibals in the making these people are. Hundreds of years no information backing health of meat and endless historical and modern info coming out about plant foods. DO THE MATH. CIVILIZATIONS ALWAYS WERE MORE VIOLENT THE MORE MEAT THEY EAT.
