It’s super easy to do and usually done because the vocalist is unable to hit those notes clean, so amazing wouldn’t be the word I would use.

it was Chad Kroeger who discovered the band after hearing a demo and wanted to get them in the studio to record a full album as soon as possible.

I miss the 2000s so much. This is the kind of rock music I like. Whether it be guys like Default, Staind, Creed, and Puddle of Mudd from the Early 2000s (2000-2002) or guys like The Killers, Trapt, All-American Rejects, Lifehouse, 3 Doors Down, and Nickelback in the middle of the decade (2003-2006) or guys like the Jonas Brothers, Daughtry, One Republic, The Script, and Kings of Leon from the late 2000s (2007-2009).

They're releasing a new album next year. It was suppose to come out last March but the label (TVT Records)they were with filed for bankrucy and they just signed with a new label.Which is awesome because crappy TVT records did absolutely nothing for these guys. and they deserve the best. awesome band and the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

Don't u hate it when the radio plays a song like this when it was new I remember and they don't tell who it is? I finally learned the band is Default and they were underated great songs, don't know what happened to them. I don't think they are under-appreciated, they are just not "around and out-there". Look, the rockin' AI winners of late, David Cook and Lee DeWyze are the only solidiers out there trying to bring back the alternative rock of the 90's/00's-they can't do it alone, they need FUEL to get 3DOORS DOWN by EVE 6 at the STROKE 9 in order to stop the spread of synthesized bubble gum music. So, I ask, where did Default, default themselves to ?

LMMFAO.. I met these guys when we were on tour in 2002 and you know what... Jeremy had just bought those brown leather pants he is wearing lol he bought them in Australia.. Both our bands were playing in Winnepeg at the time. They are a cool bunch of guys... love the leather pants Jeremy lmao

Guitar solo had no soul to it. I agree that the singer is flat in parts but no singer is going to be perfect live. Go watch Ozzy's Crazy Train video and listen to him. Its a live performance and that's what makes it unique.

Don't get me wrong, I love Default and have listened to all their records, but they didn't have a good sound in this performance. Don't know why so many people here think they sounded amazing - I find they were decent at best.

Dallas was a little flat on the vocals a couple times but it's still a great performence. The best live footage of them definitely. I always wished there was a pro filmed, full concert of them.

Ralph Z He couldn't sing back then. Since then, he's gotten himself a great vocal coach and learned the guitar. He's way better now.

They came into a bar I worked for in college in northern NY about 20 or so years ago and were super fucking cool. We stayed open late for them and they chilled with my buddy and I as we cleaned up and drank shots and talked about the biz. It was the whole band minus the lead singer. Such fucking cool dudes. I wish them all the best forever!
