One simple way would be to send the audio to a meter~ object, then scale the numbers it throws out to a range that works for the rotation

Yeah, when stuff goes wrong and I have to debug, it's always a judgement call as to whether I want to leave it in or do another take. Some people find it useful, I'm sure other people find it boring. This time I thought it wasn't too bad, and I left it in.
