They list their ingredients in order. Are they required to put percentages? First ingredient is water. As long as the SPF is what is stated on the label and all ingredients are accounted for in rank order, I think knowing the percentages is really overkill. I just checked a box of LaRoche Posay and it also does not list percentages, so I don’t know why you are singling out Korean sunscreen makers. I’m sorry you aren’t being open to the amazing sunscreens coming out of Korea and are subjecting yourself to the antiquated filters we have in the U.S. I think you are really missing out. 😢

This definitely does well if you’re after glassy skin and good hydration. My primary down side with it is it stings my eyes (something I’ve noticed happens a lot with gel sunscreens 👀.) If I yawn or laugh too hard in my daily life, I’m in for a nasty pinch. Cue run to the bathroom sink! 😭

can you recommend a sunscreen that doesn’t sting your eyes? i have the same problem.
@anamandic4540
9 күн бұрын
@@katsssmith Hi. Sure! I have super sensitive eyes and have had to figure this out. So many SPFs have been abandoned over eye sting in my life. I find that the the La Roche Posay UVMUNE400 chemical sunscreens do great on my eyes, so I trust them when I go to hot yoga where there’s a 100% chance that l’ll sweat profusely and they’ll leak into them. That line of SPFs doesn’t appeal to me the most cosmetically because they’re European and as such a little richer but when I need excellent UV protection and absolutely no nonsense around my eyes I choose them. For more everyday, non-water resistant, comfortable, sunscreens, I frequently choose the BOJ*, Round Lab*, Heimish Hyaluronic Watery Sunscreen*, Numbuzin no.1, House of Hur Weightless Sun Fluid, Abib Sedum Hyaluron Sunscreen, and Bliv U Collagen bouncing sunscreen. The ones I starred (*) in that list can be a little itchy if they enter my eyes (but they don’t *sting* per se, and a tissue will pretty easily make it go away, so I find them tolerable) and the ones without stars I’ve been using for a time with no eye sting whatsoever experienced yet.

Hyaluronic acid isn’t being used or explained properly. On dehydrated skin, no good! My derm told me that my skin needs to be damp before the serum so it holds in that moisture. It draws in and holds that hydration. Glycerin is where it’s at if you’re looking for hydration and luckily, it’s already in a lot.
@ryanmg90

If you live in a drier climate, I would avoid it. Even then, hyaluronic acid is overhyped, and causes more harm than good for a lot of people. It's a cheap ingredient (sodium hyaluronate) that manufacturers use as a cash grab to make all sorts of bogus claims in order for brands to sell naive consumers more useless products that nobody needs.
