Watched this live along with Brittney talking to a "professional". I only quote the professional part because of how Brittney took away from it. I love the questions Chaery asked. The push about how Destiny needs to own up to his side and how he enables people. It's spot on. Then you see extreme examples. Destiny just steps back with the idea of "online discourse". Destiny knows the idea of R*ape is awful. But now he cannot hold it. We see this growing more in situations like Farah. We see it with Katee. We see it when one side is accepting, but not holding themselves accountable. Then we see one side taking advantage. Destiny says " there's no ncentive to consider my side side of issues" but there is a lot covering destiny's side outside of what he bites his bullets on. I'm glad Chairy grilled him on this as a close friend because destiny struggles with Balancing "asking for help" with friends holding him accountable but also just asking him for any step. It's not responsibility. It's just he needs breaks but we need to understand he can't give answers.

"gives reasonable answer about SA being bad" Q2: "is there value in telling people to take accountability for their actions?" "yea people need to take accountability for their actions too often they push the blame to other people." now you have two separate questions and answers that when mixed up sound terrible, like what Farha did.

I don't mean to invalidate your experience - it sounds like you have a lot of experience with BPD peaople. But I don't think it's fair or correct to frame Brittany's reaction to Destiny's comments about rape vs. being jumped or his posing the question of whether conservative women might be more or less affected by rape in terms of her BPD. I have only seen a few of her streams but she's mentioned repeatedly that she had a powerfully affecting experience of sexual assault--also, she frequently talks about the work she's done in therapy to respond to her BPD behaviors and feeling patterns and has become really aware of her triggers to destructive or otherwise negative behavior and successful in navigating them with healthy choices. Given all this it makes more sense to attribute any particular emotional sensitivity she may have felt around Destiny's comments on the potential impacts of rape to her experience of sexual assault--not BPD.

@@unclebobboomergames The fact that Destiny has to constantly do damage control is telling...how can someone be clarifying their statements all the time and then need to later clarify their clarifying? Something isn't adding up and people realize that. He only cares if he looks bad and he can't debate a situation away. It's really sad but not enough to feel bad about. It's unfortunate that his problem is he talks too much, though he's a streamer, so he often ends up contradicting himself in ways that he doesn't anticipate.

Well, destiny wasn't the best when it comes to interactions with others in the sense that he just full-blown trust everyone and because he can detach himself really easily from others, he also doesn't have the same issues as, let's say, normies. If he is fine is one thing, but every time I say Farha or Sneako on destiny's stream, I will dislike it - easy as that.

I think a lot of the people he talks to are usually opposed to him in something that they're passionate about (I guess Destiny finds these people more interesting than people who agree with him on everything.) So in that sense they're predisposed to holding grudges on disagreements and some people are better at dealing with friction than others.

I’m not sure why but I just do not like this girl. I just don’t get good vibes from her. I also don’t like her talking about Britney like this without her here to defend herself. I totally understand why she took it take way. Sometimes destiny isn’t the most careful when it comes to sensitive subjects. He can be right while still phrasing or saying it in like the worst way possible.

you out yourself as having scarcity mindset when you make comments like this, you're basically screaming "I don't get a lot of pussy" he has 0 need to simp and he's equally as charitable to people he doesn't want to fuck like sneako all the time. simping gets you LESS pussy in the real world, so the fact you think a clouted up dude in an open relationship would ever simp is kinda crazy.

Destiny needs to go to therapy about this shit. At this point in the Sneako thing, there is zero redeemable qualities or remorse that have developed with sneako and destiny still dfends him. Its fucking insane. Fahra obviously cut the clip to make destiny look bad and get her audience mad but he is still denying it and defending her, why? Maybe its an ego thing and jsut cant admit that he cant judge someones character for shit or idk his parents fucked him up somehow and hes just used to ppl like that and making excuses

Although people treat Destiny badly because he never establishes clear boundaries there might be a positive takeaway with his strategy. Because this is the only way to find the people who will not step over you even if you gave them permission to do so. For example, if i tell a visitor feel like home and the actually behave like they're home, i know that's a selfish and disrespectful person. This strategy reveals a person who will accept my invitation but still respects that they are only a guest.
@nkoonkukoo

That's a dumb test. If you give people permission they will obviously think it's okay.
@SeyidAr
Жыл бұрын
@@nkoonkukoo If i tell someone "feel like home" i'm not giving them permission to sleep in my bed or actually behave like they're home. They're still a guest. Technically they could say "you said i should feel like home so i did" but obviously it's just something you say so the guest feels comfortable. So if i tell someone it's okay to cut out certain parts of a conversation i'm not saying "it's fine if you make me look like a r*pist".
