OUPES is truly helping by donating units to people that can't afford them. People that may need them for medical reasons or are in dire straits and need help

That's good to know. I have been trying to get any of the companies or the people that review them to see if I can get a donated one as I am in that situation and so far out of about 25 different contacts, nobody will even give a reply. I have given up on it.

I bought a couple Ankers and then I bought Ecoflow. Ecoflow has a app function called Backup Reserve (under Energy Management). It allows you to set a percentage of battery, and above that it will only charge from solar. Once it falls below that it will draw from grid. But just enough to keep it at the minimum percentage. I will no longer buy a battery that doesn't have that. I wish your reviews would say whether or not the app has that.

Enjoyed the review a lot. I know that you shouldn't have to "hack" a product to make it work, but maybe you COULD try putting a couple of wraps of Gorilla Tape or Flex Tape around the wheels to keep them from marring your floors. Just an idea that occurred to me. I haven't tried it myself.

Also PLEASE create a Google Sheet comparing all the data from all your testes, and add affiliate links so you can make more money from your work, and we can all have a one-stop-shop to compare all your data! (also a link to each unit from the Google sheet to your review videos will get you more views too).

i bought this mega3 unit less then a month ago for my offgrid home, and have been using a generator and solar to recharge it, but just a few days ago it was low power and i needed to get more fuel for the generator to charge it back up and upon returning and going to power it back up it wouldn't turn back on even after many hours of trying to recharge with the ac input it still wont turn back on. i wasnt a fan of the app as i would like more api ability to create switches that could turn on my gas generator automatically when the battery power gets to low and to turn it off when its full with out a load. but at this point it was a almost $2000 paperweight as it still wont turn back on after reading everything i can, but did notice in the dark if i pressed and held the on button i can see a green led glow inside the side vent that will turn back off when i let go of the power button but still screen wont turn on and no power coming from the unit even when plugged in. not a happy customer after this. and if you think about the company and them giving away units to people who may need a backup power source if they have medical equipment, if i was relying on this unit to backup power life saving device and it failed me like it did i would be needing to be rushed to the hospital or dead. luckily for me i have a gas generator that i got from harbor freight for half the cost and it haven't failed me yet other then needing refueled and oil once in a while. personally i feel i should of just upgraded to more solar panels and batteries.

Is that for real? The mega 2 is just over $1170 for 2048WH ? That is a really good deal . Anyone know which cells they use in this ? Without knowing which cells they use the only issue i have is they have the lowest warranty period of just 3 years . Most of these type units come with a 5 year warranty . How do they handle warranty claims ? Some companies do everything they can to get out of valid warranty claim and, or dare to charge a customer shipping to ship back under a valid warranty claim …

Is there any way possible to safely get 12VDC-60A-900W out of the Mega 3? Existing DC output on the Oupes is only 30A but will an AC to DC 12V/100A converter work if plugged in to the 120VAC/15A side?

So it runs out of juice in under an hour. And then I assume it will take at least 2-3 hours to charge up again, that is if you have enough solar panels. So, it’s pretty much useless in a power outage to run a window AC, fridge and basic appliances continuously since most outages last longer than an hour. That said, it’s basically a $1700 backup battery for your rechargeable vibrator in case you feel extra horny when the grid goes down. Am I missing something here?

I just checked the website link and they're listing this unit a 1,999.00. That was a really short sale price drop. That's the same price as the more popularly known Bluetti of the same capacity. About how long would it take to charge this unit from a 30 percent state of charge to a 100 percent state of charge using a 700-watt solar array, assuming optimum charging conditions? I asked this same question on the Oupes website chat feature but, it appears that no one is present during the middle of a common work day.
