Ha.. fancy a dining table? Then go ahead and just build one! In this short video (well 20 minutes odd), I show on about how I got on building this pine farmhouse-style dining table. I used just regular C24 pine, but the concept is the same. Used breadboard ends to prevent cupping and twisting. Should have used water-resistant wood glue, which I didn't. Legs are square and chunky. And has been stained Mahogany (yeah, for some reason all my projects look the same).
I will update the description later and add all the products used.
Osmo finishes: The following finishes are all suitable depending on your preference:
✅ 3011 Clear Glossy
✅ 3032 Clear Satin
✅ 3065 Clear Semi-Matt
✅ 3062 Clear Matt
✅ 3044 Raw (almost invisible effect).
Also use the following guideline for sandpaper grades as a final finish:
✅ P100 - for tropical/ingredient-rich timbers.
✅ P120 - generally provides best results when using roller/brush to apply.
✅ P150 for softwoods such as Pine when roller/brush applying.
✅ P180 - when cloth applying on ingredient rich timbers
✅ P200 or finer - when cloth applying on all other types of timber.
Always apply thinly!
✅ Roller/Brush - maximum two coats
✅ Cloth/Pad - 3-4 coats
