In this Physics video lecture in Hindi for class 12 we explained displacement current in Maxwell Ampere equation (circuital law) and it’s significance in electromagnetic waves. We also discussed the difference between displacement current and conduction current. We derived the equation for displacement current between the plates of parallel plate capacitor. We saw that the displacement current is the product of the absolute permeability of free space, the absolute permitivitty of free space and the rate of change in electric flux.
The equation we discussed is one of the Maxwell’s equations.
