Is it cheaper to use silicone instead of cement on those stome? Is the silicone bonding any good as to using cement?

Very nice looking pond. Well done! How do you secure the liner along the top? Do you just use locktite glue and glue down the top brick to hold it in place? Also, where did you get the spillway? Thanks again for sharing.

It seems like you have a serious passion here that expansion happened. I love how you went for what you like most ie, pond instead of keeping a grass patch. Looks so beautiful. I can feel that it must be amazing to spend time near a water body . Have you always liked a water body before or did this happen over time ? Curious

Yes… To us, there is nothing more relaxing than sitting by a body of water and just lazing the day away, so we started building the 1,000 gallons pond, but kois need the room to get big and grow like they are supposed to, so we upgraded our pond to 10,000 gallons for our kois to thrive

Are those the same fish from the first pond? If so they have grown huge! Nice pond.

Hi Charlie! Yes, they’re the same kois. We believe the large pond makes a big impact on the shape of the koi’s body as it grows as well.

Nice 👍. how you did the 1st row ? using cement? I’m thinking exactly what you did but not really sure how to put the 1st row on ground. Thanks
@PondGardenCruiseWithDTG

We simply level the ground and place the concrete blocks for the 1st layer. Check each of the blocks is at the place with the required level, add sand if needed. Recheck the blocks leveled with a string level. This will be perfect if you check it from several points of your proposed pond. Then position a 2nd layer and use the construction glue (picture included in the video) to bond them together

Le filtrage me semble très insuffisant pour un bassin de cette taille à moins que vous avez mis plusieurs ?
@PondGardenCruiseWithDTG
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, we keep kois so we must have a filter system that is rated at least 2 times the number gallons in our pond. This’s 10,000 gallons pond, so of course several of them (picture included in the video)
