Hmm wonder how to prevent that on cold nites. Wonder if kilz primer would be enough

I was thinking the same when I first saw the mold. If it had been painted the moisture wouldn't have penetrated the wood and thus resisted getting moldy. I swear the wood we are subjected to these days is substandard; I see plywood get moldy all the time now but rarely in the past.

@@jackmalory3698you're right, wood now is 💩 compared to what it used to be and so much more expensive too. I forget if you have a roof vent. But a roof vent cracked and at least 1 window (also cracked) would help with condensation

Definitely not enough ventilation, and I was aware of it.

What thickness and wood species is the outer plywood? Then is That painted or fiberglassed on top? Did you make a video on that?

That is 1/4 inch exterior grade plywood, probably fir since I live in the northwest and it is local. I did do videos on the making of this camper, you'd have to check my channel to find them (they are the older ones). This particular video is me tearing the original apart so that I can make modifications, which have ended up being substantial. It was covered with what is called PMF, or poor man's fiberglass, which is an old boat deck waterproofing technique consisting of gluing cloth to the substrate and then painting the cloth. PMF is easy to do and very durable.
