Thanks for making this video! I just got a 2017 1500 crew cab, surprised how big the rear area is when the seats are folded up and that flat board is layed out to make a flat floor. I'm thinking about removing the rear seats and make the rear a sleeper area for when I go camping, it looks like you have A LOT more room with the seats removed. I would lay down carpeted 1 inch wood cut to shape back there and top it off with either an air bed or foam mattress.

F K if you’ve got some money burning a hole in your pocket Woodhouse makes a sleeper berth conversion for the crew cab.

It does help, thank you sir. I need to replace the bodyside aperture exhausters (that’s the part name) because water is coming into the cab in my 2008. Thanks.

Thanks. I got the 4 low bolts out and the damn thing still wouldn't budge. I was thinking there was other bolts holding the back or something. It was just plenty stuck. After watching your video I took a crowbar and got the base to lift, then out it came.

Anti-seize keeps the bolts from seizing up. Loc-tite threadlocker makes the bolts hard to come out. And you call yourself a shade tree mechanic

Draggin-UP and you should know the bolts go through the floor and exposed to the outside so they rust. Go under wire.brush and penetrate oil them
