Brilliant! We use to throw two big bags of water over our shoulder

Thanks, my daughter and I capsized our Getaway yesterday. We didn't have enough weight to right it and finally gave in to the assistance of a motor boat pulling us upright.

not sure if you tried this, but...If you swim the mast bob or hull around so that the tramp and sail are both at 45deg, the wind will assist in getting under the sail and pushing on the tramp.. otherwise, a pole.

@@jeremy000 Thanks. I didn't try it at that angle. The wind was pushing straight into the tramp. I had hoped that was enough to right it along with me leaning out, but nope on that.

This is very convenient!!! Why can’t Hobie make these so we can order??? I would buy one in a heartbeat...As an experienced sailer I got to say righting a Getaway is challenging by yourself with the stock righting ropes....

Dude, you should send that link over to Joe @ JoyRiderTV. He'll make you famous. That is an excellent solution.
