Hey buddy, great videos, appreciate you. Question off topic of this video about depth of field. Is it a good rule of thumb that scope with a steep angle objective such as a Vortex Razor HD would have a shorter depth of field as opposed to something like a Tangent Theta which has a gradual angle to the objective, or do I have that backwards LOL All things being equal, same magnification, objective size etc. Thank you.

Not sure what angle you are talking about. The slope of the objective lens housing?

Correct, the angle from the object to the “main tube” If they are both the same objective size and same tube size, would the steep/sharper angle cause a loss in depth of field from one scope to another. If it had to bend the image more aggressively I would assume you would lose some depth of field if both scopes were on the same power

@@sundaysmokebbq that's just an outside angle of the housing. I would not read much into it. The distance from the objective front to the turrets is a better indicator, but it is not the only parameter either.

@@DarkLordOfOptics okay so a “shorter” scope from objective to turrets, that’s probably what I should said to describe it LOL. Thank you, keep up the great videos.
