For the possible mutation portion of the video, would it be a strict 50/50 or would the GC arrangement have a slightly higher chance because of GC triple bonding versus AT double bonding? I'm just curious if that makes a difference.

Small correction: when DNA Polymerase adds the new ATG or C with the triphosphates, these are no referred to as "nucleotides" yet but rather "nucleosides".
