Most people stick and want an iPhone because of their resale value. You can use it for 3-4 years and still can get a good money out of it. Unlike most androids after 3-4 years you’re pretty much stuck with it without any value. If you do decide to give the iPhone to another person after years of using it they’d still get a couple of years of updates. The economics of an iPhone is just incredible even compared with a Samsung flagship phone.

I think it’s dishonest to generalize androids when there’s so many and complex when compared to iPhone. But I will hand it to you that the main reason people still pick iPhone is because of the aggressive ecosystem

Your general question .. so people need an iphone? the clear answer is of course a resounding NO Most people text and scroll social media. You can do that on a 100$ budget phone flawslessly. Any SoC from 7 years ago can handle 99% of what most people do. Furthermore - mobile games are build around the smallest common denominator. In contrast to PC games .. they do not want to push hardware, because quantity beats quality in the mobile space. About the cameras - ahh ... no. I think you need to do more research there. In terms of light and apperture ... the Apple iPhone is CLEARLY beaten by most flagship Sony phones.(i mean, come one .. most highest end sensors ARE Sony .. just as Apple is generally beaten by Samsung in terms of display quality - because .. duhhh .. its Samsung panels) In terms of experimentation .. Android has more to offer (not always successfully) - the Nokia 9 with its Penta camera setup and raw format (i know iphone have raw, too .... now) ... the zoom of the Samsungs and the sensor size of Xiaomi phones. Photos in particular are just about average on iphones - BUT - iphones make shooting casual snapshots "easy". (and casual snapshots is what counts for most people .. because most people are not professionals and the photos they shoot are garbage - by professional standards) You wont quickly snap a photo with a Xperia I ... and you most certainly wont do a quick snapshot with a Nokia 9. Video is where iphones can shine - but again .. this is for casual family and friends videos. So the whole "iphones are for photos" mantra is a carefully groomed hype from the Apple marketing .. that people somehow just believe. Iphones do good photos - but nowhere special.

I have to push back against this idea that iPhones have better lenses. My 13 Pro and even the new ones from what I'm seeing still suffer from lens flare, something that various OEMs on the Android side have since addressed.

All of this video is personal hate. It is a choice of preference. 99% of Android phones are dramatically worse (slower, less secure, bad cameras, bad batteries, super slow work). 1% are top of the line android that are as good (if no better), but they cost as much or even bigger, WHY you say iphone is overpriced, while samsung are even more expencive? All of your points are subjective. Not hating, objectively speaking If you cant spot the difference in use that iphone is smoother, better build, better interface, fast animations, no AD, a lot of free super useful services and less complex operating system (which can do exactly the same nowadays) - it is your personal preference (and I dont understand your points at all)

You say all of his points are subjective than go on to rattle off what you think is objectively true about the iphone. Does Android not have "a lot of free super useful services"? And ios cannot do everything Android does and vice-versa (for example, you can't do split screen on iphone). Better build? All flagships these days basically frosted glass and metal edges. And "less complex system" is also just your preference. No ads other than Apple shoving its subscriptions in your face (apple tv, apple music, apple books, apple arcade, icloud, etc.) Also it's not fair to compare 99% of android phones to iphones as 99% of android phones don't cost nearly as much. I wouldn't compare a $5 burger to a $100 one. I agree with your final point though that it comes down to personal preference.

@@xoranars7491I think most people also forget to think about the least subjective aspect of iPhones and one of the most important one, the economics of it. iPhones retain their value more than any other smartphone. Using it for a couple of years and you’d still get a good amount of value for it. Even if the cost of an iPhone is WAAAAYY more than that of an android, the cost of ownership lowers given that you can still sell it for a good amount of money. If we also have to factor in the fact that a lot of high end android smartphones are almost the same price as an iphone and retains less value over the years, this would also add to the fact that Iphones are actually less costly.

Pixels are great but their specs aren't as good as like the Samsung ultra or iPhone pro but they're alot cheaper than those two brands and are still great phones with great camera
