In general, Javanese has two levels, namely Ngoko and Krama language. The Javanese ngoko language is used by people who are close, such as fellow youths, for communication between people who are closely related and also for parents to young children. While Javanese Krama is usually used by young people to older people, students to teachers, children to parents or employees to their superiors.
So, my question that may also represent your question, is the Javanese language that we use today has actually existed since when and did the Javanese people in the Majapahit era also use the Javanese language as we use it today? Check out the explanation in this video.
