7Brides for 7Brothers one of my all time favorites. Great cast, very handsome men, tall as church steeples. All these years later, a fantastic movie.❤🥰

I love this film and watch it at least twice a week, I love Millie’s character and see her as the first Feminist and my favourite scene when she takes the Brothers dirty clothes and their reaction. I found it very helpful when raising my 2 sons. Thank you for making it. Love Karen Davies

How Michael Kidd didn't take over the world and create a utopian society where we all dance on movie props brought to you by a prop boy named Aaron... I will never ever understand.

I agree. I'm a different person. I'm Aaron, the prop boy (now a prop MAN). I tell you what, though. This movie taught me that it's ok to go to town and steal women. I tell you what, Michael Kidd told me, no son, that's not good manners. Every prop boy should learn how to go courtin with a broom handle like Michael taught me.

this film is definitely questionable, but it holds a special place in my heart as i've been watching it with my dad since i was extremely young. i think my first ever gay moment was with the girls in this film szxskls they're all gorgeous. the costumes, choreo and music is all unbelievable, in my opinion, and i love it

I’m frankly astounded that today’s women still enjoy the dated, macho, sexist concept of this movie.

I think a surprising number of today's modern, tough, independent, feminist man haters would gladly swap out supposedly successful, fulfilling careers in the professional world for a man who would support them comfortably, love them and allow them to raise their children themselves, tend to their home and otherwise live a traditional life as a wife and mother.

In that time period career opportunities for women - and many men as well - were limited, and marriage was the most common path taken, with men as the providers and women as the homemakers. In regard to the sexism displayed, I think that the main point of the movie was the misguided attitudes of the brothers, especially Adam. By the end of the movie they had stopped seeing the women as beautiful conquests and came to appreciate them as human beings. Adam's transformation with Millie was especially nice to see.

It's a dated and sexist concept, but the movie is fun, gorgeous, songs are catchy, actors are great and not everything in life has to be so serious.
