Nice job. Years ago a company called "Lift Lips" made flexable durable gap fillers that made the gap between the bed and frame vanish. Don't know if their still around but if you can find them in an old image you can fab yourself some they use body clips to stay in. And for anyone else that might be interested if you don't know really how to use a cut off wheel I would suggest a reciprocating "sawzall" with an 8" blade. To do the frame cutting. And find a friend who will tack weld in your bed blocks. they will not ride around in there pinched. And from experience if you can find thin uhmw cut it to the size of the weld in block and bond it to the block on the bed side not the weld side. This will eliminate high frequency squeaks.

I got a 4 inch torsion key front end lift and a 3 inch blocked leaf spring lift on my rear on my 2003 ram 1500 4x4 off road package (rare af in fact) and it’s got the powerful 5.7 hemi muscle under the hood. Was a little bit tired at the time with over 200k on it. Now has over 270 been rebuilt at 253k miles myself everything freshened I think it would of maybe got CLOSE to 300k miles how it was all original except for a aftermarket rear end Yukon posi limited slip, suped up tuned, exhausts, K&N, MSD ignition, manifold, throttle body, heads, etc etc Now it’s making almost 500HP beast N/A out of a old 5.7 magnum. I body lifted it a extra 2 inch I didn’t want to spend money and redo everything which was already all new ball joints, u joints in the rear shaft etc etc etc

Do you "HAVE" to weld those blocks in the back? Also, what are the best body lifts for an '05 Ram 1500, 2wd. I was looking around and seen PA(Performance Accessories) is best. few quick questions, thinking of installing a body lift on my truck. What is the purpose of the crush blocks? since your only tack welding them in do you leave them in or take them out after the whole install? I don't have easy access to a welder so do i need to tack them in at all? Also the mounting bolts, do they have nuts on the other side (I'm guessing so)? Thanks for your feedback, excellent video, extremely helpful.

I broke one of the bolts on the cab body mount the front one by the passenger door, the bottom part of the bushing and broken bolt came off but the bolt is broken in the threads, where does that bolt go into to fasten is that something i can lift and remove or do i need to get a tap, to help clear that up is there a weld nut welded to the body that that bolt goes in or does the bushing have the nut inside it?

For first timers they need to go really really slow while lifting, search all over for those illusive ground straps or brackets holding a wire tight or fuel filler hose that may need attention etc...before going up all the way on each side. There will always be something that takes more time.
