Wow , what a legend , great to hear him interviewed !! I saw him playing all over L.A. in the 60's to present , and to think I would eventually work with his son Nick and with Dave Mustaine on Megadeth.

My saxophone hero! I first heard Don Menza in 1975 or '76. He was sitting in with Supersax at Donte's in North Hollywood. An amazing player, ...he has inspired me for many years

Such an incredible player. Peaceful poet on Louis bellson’s “hot”. Channel one suite. Entire Louis bellson “explosion” album. His big band album. Great stuff. Thanks for posting. Never heard him mimic Getz and he does it well.
