Love this tune and Don Pullen. Saw this performed live in the east village. It blew me away. Thank you for sharing.

Of the many classic Compositions and memorable performances by Don Pullen, this is certainly one of his signature pieces for me that captures the pensive, looking here - looking beyond qualities of his unmistakeable sound. Sleep with the masters sweet prince

I'm in tears, I profoundly love this tune since first listening, more than thirty years ago, with no idea about Pullen, only a very little jazz-rock background. And all this time i've been looking for something like this, thank you very much!! I don't understand at all how this composition did not became a full rights jazz standard. I'm subjective but honestly i think it deserves it. A top place. (maybe some slightly snob critics could think the melody and chords to be "too cheesy, too simple... or someting...well, that is precisely the point, bstrd. And then listen the developments in the solos, and shut up) Speaking of cheesy tunes, too bad mr. Ramsey Lewis. Firs,t you mistake the tune's title, shame on you, and last the show end cut the song finale. Well, to err is human. I'm still loving "The In Crowd. I overestended a little, apologies.
