A therapist/mentor always said to me when I was in a negative state/experiencing pain: "why's it not worse?". That question confused my rational mind and stopped the negative spiral in its tracks and could then come back into the senses again.

You should reach out to Paul Hedderman for a Double Barrel session. I've heard you mention him in other videos also.

This one was really helpful because I realized that “experiencing energetic movement” is all there is to do. I’ve been clinging to some illusion of perfect equanimity manifesting as peace and positive feelings in every moment… and by doing so I delay the experience of the not so peaceful and positive feelings. You mentioned that there’s nothing to hold onto, everything changes, but we hold on to our resistance. We really can hold on to that, moment to moment. It’s invariant across experiences, honestly. Suffering does seem to be something to cling to that feels…like it’ll never leave.

We're like a pendulum, the goal is being able to come back into harmony and balance quickly, from both the highs and the lows of life, which will keep happening. I'm far from it, but a lot closer to it than I was.

I'm actually getting that Tyler burden moment more and more as the shadow integrates. "The shadow is making me do this or that" "or the shadow is feeding me this thought and hijacking my mind". Who's the shadow lol?

Can u make a video on relaxing into the silence and stillness?? Seems basic but shadow work has activity, afterwards when that's done, with nothing or nobody for seeking, it's a bit difficult to relax into the stillness and silence for prolonged periods yet maintain that active observation and openness

try it in nature, with feet barefoot on ground, it's a like a cheat code.

@@AlastairGamesdoes being barefoot really effectively do anything?

@@VeritableVagabond yes, even if you don't believe that everything is energy, there's research that points out the benefits of "grounding" for physical and mental wellbeing. Being in nature and being barefoot could help the meditation! Could be fun to experiment with and see if you like it or not :)

@@VeritableVagabondthat study about putting people in a room closed off to the Earth's frequency comes to mind. Maybe there's a physical version of that (sound is vibratory and physical, is it not? Genuine question) and touching your feet to the earth may bring you as close as you can to benefiting from it.
