I remember when this great song came out in those days. Those were the days when people flocked to Nigeria from accross the world, and people were not really interested in leaving Nigeria. And corruption was the farthest thing from people's minds. Those were years of innocence and prosperity, so to speak. The Naira was even stronger than the US Dollar, believe it or not. Nostalgic days indeed.

Nigeria has what it takes to make a great nation, we have abundance of human and natural resources. It's just that our people are too egocentric, greedy and short-sighted. However, it's still possible to make Nigeria a great nation. All we need is to elect our leaders rationally by assessing their integrity, competence, character, capability and commitment to the masses and the country. We must shun ethno-religious sentiments when it comes to electing our leaders simply because that is the main reason we are in the mess we are in today.

In my opinion, Late Dr. Sir Warrior was (or is) the GREATEST Ibo musician ever. His voice was extremely sonorous and sweet and his own unique vocal twang of rhe Ala Owerri dialect. Hearing Warrior sing was an auditory delight. In my opinion, if he had sung in pidgin and perhaps been based in Lagos as Nigeria's erstwhile capital, he would have surpassed Fela Kuti in greatness. Warrior was pure class -untouchable class and light years ahead of his peers. Till today no Ibo musician has come close to his level of musical artistry -he was a multi-hit wonder, churning out hit after hit, non-stop. A museum should be opened and dedicated to his works in Owerri

You cant beat this voice. A voice so gifted that it was complemented by the greatest composer the oriental brothers ever had in dan satch. The craze for warrior as the begining and the ending of the oriental brother is unfair especially to those who have never contributed any thing in this world to change humanity. the comparising has always been unfair. akwila and ichita so gifted in their own right in a team decided to go it alone and failed. kudos to them but could not understand their limit and that they can always be good by being pulled along. warrior was a success because he was much loved by the fans of the group.dan satch undoing was he tried to sing when he could have auditioned the golden voices scattered along all the streets of owerri to do the singing for him after the split.if you were to eschew sentiment and listen to the songs of all the past members of oriental brothers, aloy anyanwu and kabaka were the better of all the members.their songs were very organised and appealing.warrior was just recycling the past songs but i love him above the rest. but this exciting time is for the truth to come out and that overshadowed kabaka and aloy anyanwu. challenge me if you can.i am erasmus(ofoje)ekwulugwo from umuokwara okwudor.
