Incredible. I've loved them for years, can't way to see them this November. I have such an emotional attachment to this band, grown and changed and been in so many different stages of life while listening to their music. Dot In The Sky just hits me so hard

Much more obvious is their similarity to Sad Lovers And Giants that started making records in 1981. Their best and most mature album is from 1983, though. And what Drab Majesty do is *very* close to that album ("Feeding The Flame"). Both groups had/have a great talent for writing good tunes, and so I love both--never can have enough of that sound :)

Fantastic songs....all of them. The granny wigs and shades.....idk. It IS a unique look as no one has done THAT specific look. For me they don’t need to look like that for me to listen to them. They could be wearing sweat pants and gap T-shirt’s and I would still feel the same about them. They are that good.

In case anyone is looking for the almost exact sound they are channeling: Try Sad Lovers & Giants, ca. 1983. The original has more great songs per album up their sleeves, but nevertheless I love many of Drab Majesty's songs. And I like their unique outfit.

It looks like a strat to me, he’s got a heavily effected sound, lots of delay and reverb and chorus though, sounds awesome. I play guitar and use a heavily effected tone also, so I recognize it
