Is that the 800 dollar Cordova nylon string? He of the custom made guitars uses it?

Gonna be seeing them later this year. Will be awesome to see (and feel...) Matt play up close. He just keeps getting more and more inhuman xD Also Javier's guitars look interesting. I don't recognise the first one he's playing. It doesn't look like his signature LTD. Maybe a full-on custom shop ESP with custom coloured pickups to boot. The second guitar he's using looks like the new crazy 8 string LTD baritone Strat thing. 8 string with a Floyd Rose...now that will offer some interesting capabilities. I got an Ibanez AZ24047 recently that is kinda similar...7 string HSS with a trem but the LTD takes that concept even further.

Whatever Tosin is playing is absolutely unintelligible in this recording, and he's playing it with great technique. What difficult band to mix live

“People like” Bands like AAL and Periphery make the music they like, which makes every album way more genuine then trying to read YOUR mind and only making you happy. I assume your playlist is full of Grunge and alt rock.

if that sounds like gatekeeping, its because it is. but its only a gate between the Artists expression and the listeners expectation. Again, they can’t read minds.

You guys just said it all. The famous song, which "people like", and obviously I'm not going to judge personal taste, BUT this is just a reflection of the abyss we live in, which ironically is extremely superficial, people don't have time anymore, for music, for art itself, that's why these musicians don't live just from music, talent and skill are not necessary if they are not appreciated, especially in art. Or do you think Ed Sheeran is a virtuoso?
