I have a SmallRig Dummy Battery for the Canon E6NH. I've used it in both my EOS R and my R6 II. However, when I used it in my R6 II, I found that after using it for about 10-12 minutes, the SD card was rather warm - not hot - but warm when I took it out of the camera to see a test video, although I've not had the same issue when using the SmallRig in my EOS R. I was wondering if you have the same experience with your EOR R? Thanks for your anticipated reply.

So not the answer your probably looking for but I only used the dummy battery for livestreaming. I never ever used the sd card to record. I would always record to my hard drive. Sorry I couldn't help you here.

After a few months of use, is it still working well? I'm always hesitant about using third party accessories but this adapter on amazon seems like it has been rated well. Worry about a faulty ac to dc issue to an expensive camera. did you have any issues at all?

Ran in to the issue of my EOS R battery dying on me during a livestream and did a quick search and found your video. I realize this is an older video but in this case that is an advantage since you have now used this adapter for a while probably. Are your thoughts and recommendations still good for this dummy battery setup?

Does it work with the R6?
@CoffeeTalkandTechJohnRyan
2 жыл бұрын
I personally haven't used it but I found this on Google ? The Canon EOS R6 camera is supplied with the LP-E6NH battery pack that provides 2130mAh of power at 7.2V. This is 14% more than the LP-E6N battery (1865mAh) and 18% more than the LP-E6 battery (1800mAh). However, the R6 will function with any of these Li-Ion batteries.
