Oh Dust, I so agree about how hard it is to be alert early in the morn! What a lovely interview...

Well, Dusty was always "Dreamy" but I liked how Dusty gave some real insight into her ups and downs, "Things don't affect me as profoundly as they use to.....if they like it good if they don't there is nothing I can do about it." Most great musicians and artists tend to be overly sensitive people, that's what makes the art so great. But it's hard to live with that level of sensitivity. Nice interview.

This interview was conducted in 1990. Dusty died of breast cancer nine years later.

Think she actually fought and beat the breast cancer. Dusty later got bone cancer, which was the cause of death I believe.

She did fight the cancer and appeared to be in remission, but remission doesn't mean cured and sadly by the time she knew it had come back it was too late, and it had spread to her bones. Luckily a lot has changed these days and it seems women have a greater chance of survival than in the 90s.

Yes, she did for a time, but breast cancer can come back anywhere in the body. If it lands in the organs or bones, it's still considered breast cancer that has travelled. Unfortunately for brave Dusty, may she forever R.I.P.
