Warm up with your 1RM, then the rest of training is a cool-down.

My typical warm up is 50 jumping jacks and then starting light on the main movement for the day. You'd be surprised how much about a minute of jumping jacks warms up your entire body.

Been going back and forth for years on best way to warmup…appreciate the straightforward advice here esp the strength training tip at end 🤙🏼

super helpful. I also kinda think that injuries always have a possibility of occurring when you are producing high outputs or trying to be athletic in general

It's funny, I kinda feel lazy when I do my gradually increasing intensity rowing machine warm up of 3 min. It feels like it's enough though, like you described here.

I take my dogs for a walk with a weighted back pack and then get to business. I never get injured.

Nowadays its overwhelming how many mobility stuff you see, lol. Anyway for me some mobility stuff ´s as warmup is helping my right shoulder to get in better position when doing barbell strength training ... you incorporate mobility stuff in your warmups ?

I rarely do, only if there is something specific I’m trying to improve

And what do you think about lighter version of standard movements, like some light biceps curl and lateral raises, just to increase blood flow and juice up the joints, do they play a role in preventing injuries?

They are good to do but I don't think they play a role in preventing injuries, at least not a significant role.
