Oil
1 onion peeled and sliced thinly
4 cloves garlic peeled and minced
2 thumb-sized ginger peeled and julienned
1/2 pound pork belly cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1/4 pound pork liver cut into thin strips
salt and pepper to taste
1 pack miswa
1 stalk of celery
Spring onion (optional)
Procedure:
*In a large pot over medium heat, heat oil. Add onions, garlic and ginger, and cook until aromatic. Add pork.
*Cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned. Add fish sauce and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.
*Add about 4 cups of water and bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover and continue to cook for about 15 to 20 minutes or until meat are tender.
Add pork liver and cook for about 5 minutes.
*Add the chopped celery
*Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add miswa and continue to cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
*Add spring onion. Turn off heat and cover to allow residual steam to cook spring onion. Serve hot.
