I love this pattern but instead of doing a 6/3 (ch 6 to start the block and chain up 3 for the new block) I do 5/2. It seems to make a cleaner/tighter fabric!

I often times do this as well. If I do a turning chain for something, which I usually avoid if I can, I'll usually use one less chain. I can see me doing that here. Lol I guess I just have big chains or something.

Oh Glenda! Beautiful blanket and I wish this video had been around a couple of years ago when I 1st learned C2C, you're such a great teacher. Like you, I've crocheted since I was a child but just learned to "corner to corner" lately. I learned from watching KZitem videos but had such trouble grasping decrease rows from the videos I watched. Your tutorial would have saved me sooo much frogging, lol. I did eventually master it and am currently working on graphgan blanket #7 out of 9 as keepsakes for my 9 grandchildren. (my husband thinks I'm crazy, some have been very complicated) . I love your border so much I'm going to use it to finish this blanket, it's Marilyn Monroe. Thanks Glenda and I love your swatch videos.

Oh my ! The third project I ever made was a corner-to-corner. A friend bought me a hook and yarn, and a pattern. She thought we could make blankets at the same time. She was more experienced, but thought maybe we could help one another with the pattern. Needless to say, it took me 6 months to finish. She took 7 months. We gave them as gifts to our adult kids. Came out beautiful, but was time consuming. Now that I am a veteran crocheter, it would take much less time. It was challenging at the time LOL. I was proud that I did not quit.

I think the bright white is fine. I think the white in the Dottie yarn just shows differently when there are warm vs cool tone colors around it. It’s also a color perception thing and how your mind sees it. For example, look at a yarn cake that is the same colors wound into a cake in opposite directions and you would not think all the same colors were used.

I love doing c2c you don't even have to edge it but what you did is gorgeous, Glenda. Someone mentioned about doing 5/2 instead of 6/3. I think what makes the c2c is the holes keep it flexible and yet they close and don't stretch as much as you think but it is a matter of taste. I would say keep the 6/3 and just use a size smaller hook to make it a little closer and not lose that draping. Again it's all in taste. Try the c2c rectangle for bigger blankets and scarves and things like that.😊
