This is one of the healthiest snack I make for the fam. I just wish I could find persimmon dried like this, our local Korean market only sells them flat so spreading them to add the walnuts can be a bear.

there are no dried persimmon in the carib :(.and the fruit is really expensive in the chinese groceries store xD but i bought them ones and now they are my second fav fruit although im gonna eat them ones a year.gonna save some money so i can ship em in!

This can also be made with apricot, if you're allergic to persimmon. Edit: I found out I was allergic to that fruit by trying this recipe (from Maangchi). But it wasn't a deathly reaction. :)

omg, I literally went to a Chinese supermarket yesterday and I saw these dried persimmons when I was at the checkout. If I remember correctly, you once made another video which featured dried persimmons and I remember you saying how much you loved them, so yeah, I was standing at the checkout contemplating on whether I should grab a box or not, and very regretfully, I didn't pick one up. Now that you've posted this video, I really feel like kicking myself! whyyyy?!?! ;_;

I'm a type 1 diabetic and im interested in living in Korea, Diabetes is a expensive disease :\ i know i cant afford to pay out of pocket for everything.

Your Korean pronunciation is nearly always perfect, but I want to say that chrysanthemum tea is not pronounced as "구-과-차" as you did, it's "구-콰-차". Anyway, wow,,how can dried persimmons be turned into that yumminess~

Thank you for sharing your cool recipe! I have just one comment: everything is in plastic!! the fruits, the chopping board and the plastic foil. Natural materials would be more eye-pleasing, environmental and appetizing.

I was catching up on your videos and I just watched the winter necessities one where you talked about the hand creams. I know beauty products are huge in Korea for both men and women.. I wanted to know if there are stores like Sephora and bath and body works where you can buy soaps, perfumes and make up n such or if they have an equivalent to it? I use a skull and crossbones tea strainer and I got my stepdaughter a platypus one. I've got jasmine green tea and pumpkin spice black tea we drink all the time. I also love hibiscus tea.

I love Maangchis recipies. I make something similar using pecans and fresh sticky dates. Tastes like a pecan pie. This will be a good recipe to try when my persimmon tree is loaded and need to dehydrate some.

You could use the "goop" to help the walnut halves adhere to each other. But looks like you don't need adhesives. :)
