Here is a tip… boiling liquid can over cook cucumbers, but not carrots. My advice is follow her advice, but pour the brine/vinegar mix when it’s just warm to the touch. So do the boil but let it cool. VERY IMPORTANT. Much snappier cuckes, if you feel they didn’t absorb the flavor? Let them sit for more days. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for this tasty and easy pickle recipe. As soon as I watched your video I made two jars, 6 fat dill pickles and a quarter long cucumber. Luckily I had a bundle fresh dill at home. However I put the dill at the top of the jar' then poured the vinegar and hot water. After one hour I will remove them and put fresh dills again. And also I divided the vinegar sauce into two jars and topped my 1 lt jars with hot water. My second mistake) I will write the outcome result after one night fridge time. Regards from Canada.

I just used straight white distilled vinegar, and I tell you that when I eat them, my insides boil raw. The pickles are delicious but my entire esophageal system goes completely numb with burning. For the absolute love of god, if you make these at home, add some H20. Otherwise delicious.
