Sometimes you learn a song on guitar that you can't quite sing because it's not in your vocal range.
Or you're writing a killer chord progression but you can't seem to write vocal melodies that fit that progression.
One of the best things you can do is transpose the song into a different key. And I will show you a simple way to do that in this video.
You can use this method to transpose to any key. In other words, I counted up 5 frets from the E note to go from E minor to A minor.
But if you only went 2 frets up, that would be an F sharp minor. Or two steps down from E minor would be a D minor, and you would count to the other chords with this method accordingly.
I hope this video helps you and stay tuned for more content!
