To the people who think this is fine. I’m no Eddie haul but I deadlift 700. He’s not using his legs in the lift. It’s more like a lower back row with that form and actually makes him weaker and lose tightness. You should lock knees then hips, the bar should already be off the ground by the time your knees lock, or else your legs are doing literally zero work. Your legs are far stronger than your spinal erectors, and mechanically are better for picking things up.

Kids should be out in the real world not just on games all day every day. I didn't have the best start to life, didn't have a dad, went off the rails and only went back to college after my oldest (12 year old) son was born, to do tree climbing, tree surgery courses etc. It's good to spend time, set targets and achieving goals with your children and set them up for the future, sports, work, whatever. Assuming he has better form on lighter weights, I will just say that 100kg at his age is hella impressive

Lifting 100kg in the age of 11 is pretty hard but seeing your dad with a Powerpuff girls shirt is even harder.

That type of stress on his extremely underdeveloped bone structure as well as everything else being underdeveloped will cause him catastrophic problems later in life. Good job Eddie.

Everyone hating on Eddie for “ruining his sons spine” yet he’s the professional and more importantly he’s spending time with his son and doing things most dads don’t. He seems like a great dad and would go to the ends of the earth for his son all respect to him

There was Naim Suleymanoglu in the Olympics... He was the only man who literally lifted 3 folds of his own body weight like a shoulder press... noone ever came close to his records... 3 world records in the same competition...

The crazy part about this is he’s 11 years old his joints haven’t even developed yet. Continues good luck with your body when you get older son. His father should know better.

I think he certainly has the potential, Eddie has often talked about how focused Max is when they’re at the gym. Obviously with his dad as his guide there’s no reason as to why he can’t become as strong as his dad

People say Eddie's son will be stronger than him. There is a slim chance of that happening. He could be a good lifter but I don't think he would have that hunger for success which Eddie had during his compitition career. Eddie's madness to win was phenomenal. Most children of successful people fails to inherit that madness
