Retired now from LBC. So sad to see you go. Well deserved retirement though, and thank you for being such an excellent presenter and interviewer, holding those in high office to account.

We need a best moments of his LBC career. One of my favourite presenters, he's like a dog with a bone until his questions are answered, EXACTLY how an interviewer should be but sadly, very few are and we all know why.

The third caller is a fine example of a "shouty man" who thinks that by talking across the radio host, that we, the listeners. will discount what the radio host is bringing to the publics' attention. The "shouty man" then wanted to segue to discuss the "two thousand dead people" in India. Like he cares about them, yeah sure you do.

What he doesn't understand is that he's no longer in the Single market, therefore there's no longer one set of rules to the other 27 countries. Now he's to follow the rules of each individual member of the EU as a third country. Sovereignty is bliss.

Yeah, a bureaucratic monster which the UK had to leave to be more nimble is somehow able to change the rules, goes through every legislation process, informs the custom services and changes every document and it system. And this a weekly basis, just to annoy some British SMEs. Respect for their efficiency. Or maybe it is just British business being slow to implement rules that are in place for many years but are only applying to countries with 3rd member status.

Eddie Mair must be the dullest, most depressing radio presenter in the name of radio presenting, he even makes that bottle of pills in the first aid box more inviting all one needs now is for a parking ticket through the letter box to push one finally over the edge.
