Being as I was Eddie's Tour Manager during this time, I feel compelled to correct some statements here. First--This record was an in house promotion at Bill Graham Management.--Not a major label release--No muscle. The distribution was slow in getting off the ground and never really got any legs under it. Grunge had nothing to do with it. The best radio guy in the business was working it--Jeff McCluskey. Ed did East and West Coast TV. and a relentless tour schedule. If only Columbia/Sony......

I picked this up after giving it a quick listen at Best Buy, I think. LOVE every song on this album. My FAVORITE Eddie Money Album. There should have been at least 3 Top 10 songs off of it if not more. Can't find the album on Spotify and only a few of the songs on here. Glad I still have my CD.

All I remember this album was released on Wolfgang Records an indie label. It puzzled me because the previous release 'Right Here' was released on Columbia Records and spawned 3 Billboard hits. I also remember grunge was huge and the new punk-pop movement was big. That's how I based my my feelings on why this album was released on a small indie label and didn't get the notoriety it should have. You know Jeff, at that time I was dating a girl from Wilkes Barre, PA, I'm from Dirty Jerz, Belmar area to be exact. One huge observation I noticed from PA was that they gave rock no matter how big the record label more of a chance and pretty decent radio play. This is how I first heard this song and went out and bought the CD. Meanwhile in Jersey they were playing some pop, grunge and this new punk-pop Offspring, Green Day, etc. Don't get me wrong I love that music, but I also love other types of rock. At that time all the previous huge "hair bands" (with exception of Bon Jovi/Def Lep, and maybe 1-2 others) got booted off of their major labels and went to Metal Blade and or mostly CMC records. I meant no offense Jeff, just my observation of the music scene.

Agreed. I hated that noisy and crappy subculture with a passion. To me, rockers like Eddie Money were the real deal. Unfortunately, they went largely ignored after the 80's ended.
