I think Edge’s perspective is cool because Becky Lynch has been pretty open that she feels the exact opposite about Logan Paul and other celebs. I became a Logan Paul fan through wrestling, not the other way around. Of course I knew who he was, I spend plenty of free desk time on YT but never cared to do a deep dive. As far as people complaining about Paul "taking a spot" that belonged to someone else goes, if other active people were as over and gave it as much time and effort as a part timer does then they wouldn't have to worry about their spot being taken. He's not coming around to go after titles, just give the fans big moments. If he came up through the business people would be kissing his rear end with the amount of ability and charisma he naturally has. Logan Paul is everything WWE wanted Gable Steveson to be and more. Hell even Pat McAfee has been more of an asset to the company than Steveson. Just drop his NIL contract, give Chad Gable (another REAL Olympian) the push that was meant for Steveson and move on from the whole thing. TLDR: The Paul's in wrestling = money
@wildboyishere65

He has privilege of being a huge influencer. Its good that he knows this and isnt blind to that fact. The argument that hes taking spots from fulltimers is valid. For example Ricochet can do everything Paul can do plus more. Wwe has yet push him to the main event spot. If ppl were in the same position they would have a grip too. So far hes been pretty respectful about it.

What makes celebs different than most other wrestlers in the business. Many, like Edge have been ones with lifelong wrestling dreams or from Indie Wrestling. Many other wrestlers though? Have come in from different careers not related to wrestling. Ex football players, Ex MMA, just people in general that got recruited into a wrestling school because they"Have the look" Even the Miz is ex minor celeb (I view KZitemrs as minor celebs as well). Whether you have liked his KZitem content or not or his attitude, at least he has shown for a long time he has a very athletic background, he isn't just flouting his name without being able to perform. I get the guys n the locker room that eye him warily as a part timer and celeb. Wondering why this guy just walks in and takes a spot one of them could be filling. I like that Logan takes that seriously and pushes himself harder than he probably has to in order to respect that he has that position.

I used to despise celebrities coming to wwe or back in wcw and thought it was bs and unfair to the day in day out guys and girls... But Edge is right. WWE/F has ALWAYS had celebrities involved since the 80's. If the guys wrestling don't want celebrities who are over coming in and taking a spot on the cards, then become bigger than that celebrity. WWE isn't like other wrestling Being a great wrestler isn't enough up there (See Dolph Ziggler) or if they can't wrestle at all (See John Cena)... You have to be a larger than life charismatic individual who can attract fans and most importantly, SELL A TON OF MERCHANDISE. If Logan Paul wasn't a B level celebrity, wwe would never have him in the spot he's in. It's because people who like Logan will watch wwe and because tmz will talk about it. Vince cares about money and publicity. And it's harsh and unfair, but it is the way the world works.

In professional Wrestling you have 2 jobs. Job one is to sell Tickets and Job 2 two is help sell tickets. It doesnt matter who you are. If you can do one of those two you have a job

as much as i dislike the Paul brothers as people, I have to give it to him that his matches are the most excited I've felt in a long time. Him and Cody are the only ones to actually have made me jump out of my seat and wonder what's gonna happen next. Dislike Logan, but gotta give it to him as a showman and an athlete/wrestler, he's doing better than the WWE has done for me in the last 6 years

If Logan Paul wasn’t good at all then yes, his Wwe run would be a joke. But the guy is a legit worker and has a lot of natural talent. He backs it up and has my respect for it.

1:09 I get Mike has to kiss his ass because Logan made him and keeps him employed but dude don't compare him to Edge and what Edge has done. Don't get me wrong Logan is killing it and I respect him for taking it serious and really putting his heart in but he's got 20 more years atleast before we can compare ANYTHING

Yeah but the WWE always want too be taken seriously as a real sport but Logan Paul and Bad Bunny can’t just go too a NBA headquarters and say you mind if I play in the NBA All Star GAME 🤷🏾♂️

All of my criticisms of Paul were erased when he was able to wrestle Roman in a main event and entertain me more than Goldberg v Undertaker.

So basically issue is does he want to be a main full timer...or a special occasion rare performer? either way is fine, both you earn credit and respect, but if he does not do the full time route then itl be less admirable overall.

Guess I'll be the first to see that the clips title didn't match the actual clip...how was Edge "brutally honest" about Logan and when did he ever say "Ruin"...

My thing is I need to see him do more than just be an event type of guy like let's break him out 3 times a year.....oh and let's give him a title shot out of no where
