They probably have been teaching him bits about the knowledge since he was a kid though. So he got the knowledges and muscle memory that most people won't have.

No wonder they running this restaurant for 27 years, the grandson seems so humble and polite, he work and thank customer at same time. It is definitely not easy task to run a restaurant. Inspiring indeed.
The grandson is well organized and efficient in running the kitchen by himself and making all those different dishes! They look really yummy, too. Man, makes me hungry! He’s very good.👍
It's crazy how he handled the kitchen alone there, from prep work to cooking. It must be tiring, whoever worked on F&B know this circumstances. Great job to him for keep it well manage all the time.

And not only that it's one of the cleanest, best organized kitchens I've seen from Japanese family restaurants. And the food looks amazing.
일본의 아날로그 감성과 장인정신이 부럽습니다 일본 언론에는 안나오겠지만 한국 사람들도 일본의 장인정신이 얼마나 대단한지 다 알고있습니다

I can really appreciate the chef in this video for keeping a clean non-showboating technique. KZitem likes to recommend me "wok skills" and "fried rice" videos and I can't enjoy them because the chefs are too aggressive with the wok stirring and bits of food goes flying everywhere. I really enjoyed this one!

The food as well as the presentation looks impeccable. Her grandson is at home in that kitchen and I wish their restaurant continued success. The chicken karaage looks especially delicious. I didn’t want this video to end.

Would you still think it impeccable if you noticed he pushed the door opened with his bare hand then went right to handling food without washing his hands. I’m so much better off when I don’t notice things like that. Was out to brunch a few years ago, had clear view of the kitchen, saw a chef drop a kitchen towel on the floor, then pick it up and put it on the counter. I only had coffee after that. I’m pretty sure none of those things were done with malice, but done automatically, and we’ve probably all done similar things.
