What charger were you using? The 3A, 4A or new to my side of the planet the mighty 6A charger? While I would like the 6Ah batteries for my Einhell/Ozito 18V tools they are just way too expensive. In Oz the 4Ah is AUD$69 and the 6Ah is AUD$139. The 8Ah is AUD$179 which is why I picked up a pack of 4 x 4Ah batteries on Special for AUD$129. I would like the 8A 18V Charger but they are AUD$80 for a single battery so I need to wait until the dual charger is released here. Have to go and watch your battery teardown now. *Thank you* for the videos. It's helpful to learn this information about their newer 6Ah and 8Ah batteries. Much appreciated. 👍

I have single and dual 3A chargers. I was thinking about the faster ones, but....too expensive here also. I can always charge overnight 😁

Bun bun ! Am luat si eu o bucata, pana acum e bine. Cred ca merita investitia fata de una de 4-6 considerand ca diferenta in greutatea e foarte mica.

Da, daca diferenta de pret e destul de mica, clar merita luata cea de 8Ah

Einhell Batteries don't seem to have cell balancing functionality like Makita does. No separate connector or wires to each cell. Shame

From what I see that is done inside the battery: kzitem.info/news/bejne/yIV8zKGuj6eGnm0si=UppZ9C6U08SKYL0S

There is circuitry inside the battery that handles the load balancing. If one cell gets unbalanced if it hasn't been kept at a sufficient charge for quite some time the low voltage cell can be brought back to the minimum charge voltage and the balancing chip will even it all out once it starts charging again. Of course if the cell is actually bad then that doesn't happen and if the battery is out of warranty then if you have the right equipment you can replace the cell/ battery and then recharge it. I haven't done that but have watch 3 or 4 videos where it has been done.
