Nice video. Thanks for including the descend info. My wife and I did the friction’s descend a few times. El Whampo is on top of my list. Hope to get to climb this season.

I followed a mentor on this climb a few months back and it was a blast. Getting into the crack on P2 was pretty spooky for me. Anyways, a couple thoughts. 1) Don't climb with your apple watch on as it'll get damaged easily. Looks like you realized this on P2. 2) Don't say "slack" when you want to leader to pull in the extra rope. Say "Up-rope" instead. Slack is best used when you actually need it like after taking a short fall and you need to be lowered to some footholds.

Steve Schmid it was a bit spooky getting onto the pitch 2 crack. I agree, No on Apple Watch. Good on noticing me saying the wrong terminology. I meant to say “take”. Cool climb and thanks for the comments.

You guys did not do the 3rd pitch slab I take it, but instead went around the base then up and to the left ( I think). Tho, I got to admit the video makes me a bit nauseous and I had a hard time watching it all. Although, I guess they didn't do that on the FA. To avoid potential swing for your follower, you can go straight up (El Grandote version), but it's still runout with a (manky) bolt about 20 feet above your last piece. Nice effort!

Mohammad Levy we tried our best to follow mountain project. We may have gone too far right on the 3rd pitch. Video is a bit nauseating. 😁 thanks for the info.
