i discovered your channel after your previous video came out, and between the last two uploads, I've watched just about every video on your channel. Your channel is literally the only sprint/vlog channel I can find that goes really deep into your routines and process, and it's really helped me figure out my own routines. Competing as an unattached collegiate hurdler, it's taken soo much work and effort to build track/gym workouts, stretching habits, race preparations, and even a proper diet. Your videos have sincerely helped me figure out many of these things for myself.

Mathias i have a question , is it good to work 2 times a day as a sprinter or you should focus more in recovery .
@hovejoha
Жыл бұрын
Once per day is enough, but some might get a benefit from doing for example one sprint and one strength workout on one day, instead of the day after another. Sprint 2-3 times per week, use the rest of the week for strength/power, endurance, or recovery.

Super interested in your 5 week programmes on Patreon to act as a power block in my cycles but can’t find much info on it! Could you make a video or just give me a quick rundown of what to expect? ie how much of it is sprinting, how much is plyo work, how much lifting involved? And are the lifts more power focused than strength or a balance of the two?

@hovejoha
Жыл бұрын
If I use a thumb starter there is no reaction in the timing (about 0.20s faster than competition), but when using the freelap e-gun the time is started at the gun.
