@@ellenrittgers990There is a musical piece called, "Baby Elephant Walk." But, you got me curious and am looking forward to your recommendation. It would be great if both strategies could meet to make incredible movies. That seldom happens any more.

@@ranoff40free39 Humans are the apex species because of the efforts of less than 1% of them. Most humans would die within two weeks of being dumped in a natural environment without any weapons, food, nor water. Many would not even make it past the first week. However, a 200 kilogram woman can move 120 kilometers per hour because of the efforts of Karl Benz and his wife. Most humans eat daily because of the efforts of farmers. Yet those humans would be clueless on how to make their own food. Most humans are powerless against wild animals, if unarmed. However, less than 1% of humans made it that most humans are little more than just work drones that can operate some appliances. Most are idiots that can not function in the wild. They may have measurably better intelligence for most aspects. But for survival skills, most of them have none. Humans are apex as a species, but not as a individual nor even as part of a moderate herd. Most can not survive without the efforts of other humans.

It's all relative; we're measurably the most intelligent things on earth, yet our stupidity is completely boundless because we can more easily rationalize our stupid decisions by convincing ourselves we'll be the exception to the poor choice we're about to make. Like, we were clever enough to come up with a road and traffic system, but are also stupid enough to burn red lights and go twice the speed limit because we can justify the time saving to ourselves; about 1 million deaths, and 50 million injuries per year are the result. Like bats bumping into each other as they fly, most of these are pretty understandable blunders, or just plain bad luck in a context where a single mistake means death. We essentially designed our own habitat enclosures, managed to immunize ourselves from lethal pathogens, and still manage to kill ourselves by eating dish-soap.

Depends if you are talking wholesale or retail pricing. How much is a leg in the supermarket where you are? How much is 10lb of wool? I bet that would surpass $60, If those sheep were fully reared and ready to go to slaughter then the value to the farmer would be what he would lose not being able to sell them, not what he bought them for. You also have to factor in the cost of rearing them, food, land, veterinary bills, paying farm hands etc. Even a fair profit to the farmer for his investment needs to be considered in the cost of the loss. He has now lost that investment and potential profit now.

@@johnba291972 its a misleading statement. You think free range Sheppard s are paying vet bills lol. Or have much overhead at all,, this isn't your 1st world sheep farm.. Most don't even bother to do the math, or are incapable, without a calculator. My mind does simple math like this, without wanting to, so I see how over inflated these monetary losses, are made to appear to be. They lived spoiled lives as honored human companions for centuries. Then we got telephones and we threw them out like trash. Literally, we threw them away. Their species had already been fully domesticated and they could not survive in the wild; they lost all their survival instincts during the centuries that they lived caged by people. That is why they live in cities with people instead of in a forest somewhere. It's OUR fault. And not only did we throw them away, but now humans curse them as "winged rats;" casting them as pests. But they don't know how to live without us, and their instincts tell us that they should trust us. So, they continue to come up to humans and beg for food, because it's the only survival skill left in their genes. They love us because they were bred by us to feel that way, and yet we hate them."
