A couple tips, that pad seems kinda small so i get it but try to stick to the playing zones, drums 1 and 2 you going to the top the play, you should be at the bottom, also this as well may be because it’s a small pad but your playing position is a little sloppy, don’t break your wrists when switching drums, move your whole arm, also have your thumbs to the side, i notice they tend to point up like your playing a bass, other than that it’s pretty good

Yo from what I see in the comments it was freshman year so honestly congrats on the ability to play at such an early stage. A couple things first use a met man pleaseeee. Second is zones, a trick i use is finding the zones you want and using stick tape on the pad to tape them off and train yourself to play there. 3 as much as jig 2 is work on pds pdds, rythimic quality etc it seems tedious but super helpful. Also stop playing jig 2 man play something cooler like qmcm singles!!!!

Number 1 thing to work on is playing zones they’re no offense awful your playing in the middle and if you have an actual drum you’ll be able to tell why and you kinda started to play in French grip a little and you weren’t with the click the whole time and dynamics I know it’s a cadence but you wanna make those taps taps and those accents big but other than that good work

@khmerman988

Work on technique, the tap off wasn't good. Metronome. When you're doing accents, don't hit the drum harder, let the stick heights do more of the work. You end up getting a sort of dead sound when you don't and risk break the head. Playing zones. When you playing the solo, your chops weren't coming from your fingers, but your struggling arms. You should work your fingers more for a better sound. Move your body less; when you start marching you can't be moving hour body because the drums move with you.
