A while ago, I introduced braised ribs using a pressure cooker.
Today’s braised ribs using enzymes from fruit will make the meat tender.
Simply boil it in a pot!
The seasoning is very simple because I used all-purpose soy sauce.

[RECIPE]
Ingredients
1.5kg(trimmed 1.3kg) beef shortribs, soaked in water for
30min. scored
4 dried shittake mushrooms
1/4(30g) red bell pepper, bias-cut
1/4(30g) yellow bell pepper, bias-cut
1/2 onion, sliced
1/2sprig leek, cut into 3cm in length
5 dates
5 chestnuts, peeled
1 1/2C pear.onion.kiwi juiced
3C water
3T rice wine
Blanching liquid: water 3C, rice wine 1T, salt 1t
seasonings: a.p. soy sauce 2/3C, minced leek 3T, minced garlic 3T, sesame seeds 1T, sesame oil 1T, black pepper little
Preparation)
1. In a boiling water, add rice wine and salt and place the short ribs to blanch for 2~3minutes; then rinse under water for twice.
2. In a simmering pot, add blanched short ribs and fruits juiced, water and rice wine to mix and marinade for 20minutes.
3. Add the mushrooms and put the lid on and cook at a high heat.
4. Turn the heat to a med. heat and continue to cook for 35minutes.
5. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients to make the seasonings.
6. In a simmering pot, add the seasonings, onions, chestnuts, dates and leek; put the lid on and cook for 10minutes; place the bellpeppers and finish to cook.
