ENTJ's power style is recorded in The Art of War, how to win with strategic management, deception, and when necessary, violence of action. Machiavellian philosophy and power system is entirely ENTP.

Okay I’ve been waiting for a new video to comment. You good sir, have been the therapist I didn’t know i needed. As an ENTJ I hate that you know the inner workings of my mind even better than me. But it’s comforting knowing you use this knowledge for good. As far as I can tell.

So, to share a little more on the part where ENTJs think emotions can be managed so are willing to go ahead and risk being hated part. I dont know that its that we think we can manage emotions and risk the hate as much as it is, we see what we believe has to be done to get to the point we need to get to, so, I dont want to say we dont care but we prioritize what has to happen, consequences be damned, if that makes sense. When I first got my stepdaughter, she had serious issues with lying, self esteem, stealing, etc... I knew what needed to be done to help her. However, I also knew how... unpleasant... that orocess would be for her and I knew it was probable that she would hate me. Hiwever, it was the only way, so I didnt care if she hated me or not, I implemented it. Her emotions didnt play into what the solution was. The solution was just the solution and it didnt matter how me or her felt about it. She hated me for about a year, then one day she started seeing the results and it clicked with her that the devil she thought I was, was actually on her side helping her. Shes been around for 6 years since, is a genuinely good person, doesnt steal or anything anymore, and we have a great relationship now. Its not that we think we can manage emotions, its simply that they frequently arent part of the solution so have to be ignored to do the thing we believe is the objectively right thing. If it makes anyone feel any better, we ignore how we feel about things too. Ive told my boss my position wasnt needed and the company would save money by getting rid of it... Thankfully they allowed me to transfer before they did away with it, lol. Edit: Youve got great descriptions by the way. Some of the best.

Damn, I knew I was bad at some of the stuff mentioned but now it's reminded me of certain mistakes I completely forgot about that looking back was really impulsive or made me appear weak in front of my enemies. Honestly I wish someone would advise me knowing the downsides of being an ENTJ, but I'm sure even without one I'll find a way to cover my weak spots 😊

What are your long-term goals and the steps you’re taking to reach them?

@@Skimmerlit My long term goals are to be a journalist and do reporting as well as doing podcasts and other types of digital journalism. So far I've been following people who do the same thing and building my social media presence. I tried the traditional method of getting a degree but it wasn't for me, and when I found that others were able to make money off of doing it without a degree, I knew I still had a chance at doing what I wanted without spending the rest of my life paying off a debt. And I love that going freelance means I'm unrestricted in what I want to write and/or do podcasts of. I've hung out mostly on reddit, IG, and other apps like this one and I've been learning through trial and error what the trends are in certain communities, and also posting a few things myself. Some topics that seem like they would be controversial I find have the lowest views and others that are more specific and could be controversial have worked a lot better with my highest viewed post reaching 3.8k I've mostly been observing the mbti community but I plan to branch off into other groups. I had to start somewhere, i guess lol

What sorts of topics do you cover? What patterns have you noticed in topics that gain traction as times change? What sort of persona and ethic are you developing for your presence? You’ll definitely make money. I make bad decisions intentionally and still manage $0.40-1.20 per day, which isn’t much, but it proves even small creators can make a little change.

You do know Cesar Borgia, Machiavelli's ideal main hero of the book 'The Prince' is most possibly an ENTJ 3W2, right?
@Skimmerlit
Жыл бұрын
That doesn’t affect anything I said, but, for extra info, most people Machiavelli referenced positively didn’t use all his methods-he cherry-picked and massaged examples to make his points, forward his political agenda, and, most importantly, demonstrate Italian rulers *can* consolidate power and resist foreign nations.

@@Skimmerlit I'm not trying to dispute you, I think you know that. I just mean, 'The Prince' was modeled after Cesare Borgia. Niccolo worked under him, and eventually saw his downfall also. But he still thought he was the greatest leader he's witnessed in his lifetime. I agree with you whole heartedly, Napoleon and Caeser is more akin to ENTJs, but one has to take note how Machiavelli wrote that book, which is he wrote it with the memory of his political past. There is something you have to know though, that not all ENTJs are like Napoleon or Caeser, that is that they love to fight and is a bit too individualistic without compassion. I am not like that. I think the mistake goes to how ENTJs are taken mostly as 3w4s or 8w7 or 8w9s. There are some ENTJs that focus tremendously on influencing people and being society oriented. I could give you an example, but I'm afraid if you're american you don't know this name, so I'll exempt myself from some names. For you, I would say Arnold Schwarzenegger is a good example. Or Louis Bloom from NightCrawler. They are hyper aware of social situations, to the point of sociopathy (if gone unhealthy of course). So more than material success, much like Louis Bloom, or possibly Cesare Borgia, it's more about how to be attractive, and attain power through seduction. This is the opposite of 'unawareness' of social situations or the anger of others, but a 'hyper awareness' of the anger and hatred of others to where one borderlines systematic approach to social ladders and love to sociapthy and success. So these ENTJs systemetize logically not material things but on social attention. Another good example, might be Cleopatra, how she tried to charm her way in to make her empire survive. Anyway, even if we can criticize Napoleon for being a Bull, and charging in mindlessly, he did have a lot of tact in political charm, and societal manipulation, if you know how he used propoganda and journalism to gradize himself. He did say 'wearing a velvet glove on an iron fist' when talking about his own methods to war.
